Certified Vascular Lab &
Ultrasound Services
The Vascular Laboratory offers noninvasive ways of
evaluating and diagnosing the vascular system for arterial and
venous disease and disorders. It focuses on diseases of the
peripheral vascular system; that is, the veins and arteries of the
neck, arms and legs, and blood vessels leading to the internal
organs (excluding the heart).
We also use ultrasound to evaluate general surgery
problems, serving as a complement to physical exam. We use
ultrasound for breast, thyroid, liver and biliary studies as well as
evaluation of soft tissue masses. We offer ultrasound guided
biopsies of the breast and the thyroid right in the office.
The Vascular Laboratory at the Surgical Care Group is
certified by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of
Vascular Laboratories. This certification requires that we regularly
verify results to ensure the highest standard of accuracy.

Eric Tyler, RVT is certified by
